Virginia's Run

PG - FAMILY When Virginia’s mother dies in a riding accident, her father, Ford, sells the horse, Twister, to their wealthy neighbour Blake Raines and forbids Virginia from ever riding again. Boxed in by her father’s restrictions, her sister’s traitorous relationship with Darrow Raines, and her own inability to deal with her grief, Virginia clings to Stormy, the colt of Twister. Defiantly, she sneaks out nightly to ride the horse. In a devastating move, Stormy is sold to new owners. Ford cleverly buys back the horse and permits Virginia to enter the coveted 50 Mile Endurance Race. Only now is she able to see if she is up to the challenge of her dreams.
